It has been a week since the marriage of Jocelyn Fray and Luke Garroway. They're off on a two week long trip to the Bahamas for their honeymoon while their daughter, Clary Fray, is at home continuing her studies as a Shadowhunter. When Clary catches Jace in the act of cheating, she runs away. But when she soon returns, secrets unveil, and the young Shadowhunters from the New York Institute soon find themselves in the middle of yet another threat. Also, some scenes I use also belong to author Cassandra Clare because I took them out of the book to make my story as close to the real book as possible! The first time she approached him was with a letter telling him how she felt about him, but he flatly refused to take it and walked away. Clary will stop at nothing to win his love. When her father's house burns down, her father tells her that they are staying with his childhood and best friend. When she arrives at the house, it turns out that they are at Herondale's house. Clary is in shock to see Jace standing there in the foyer waiting to say hello. He greets her and her father by introducing himself as he has never met her before. His mother becomes fond of Clary and even sets up a room just for her. She asks Jace to help Clary unpack, but Clary refuses his help, so Jace tells her to stay out of his way while she is staying there. Clary's work is cut out for her. Will she win Jace's heart? Will her dream of marrying him come true? You will have to see.

Clary and Jace thought that all their problems had ended the moment that Jocelyn and Luke had got married. With the addition of a few familiar faces the New York Institute and New York in general are in for a roller coaster of a ride. Their relationship had never been easy and it isn't about to get any easier for them. She fell against the marble pillar, clutching her heart , waiting for the pain to come . Her heart felt a thousand times heavier and the air around her poisonous. The tears streamed out of her eyes without her permission as she waited for the inevitable. This had to happen, she had to let go of her anchor, her guide. There was no other way and finally the pain came. She held her chest tightly, as if afraid that it would break. it was the pain equal to a thousand knives tearing at you at the same time. she felt the bond weaken little by little and finally ripping its way out of her chest. the bond which connected her to the one person she loved more than anything , losing its strength. and finally it was just a piece of shred. it didnot hold her to her other half anymore. she screamed and screamed untill she lost her voice . she curled up on the cold ground, hugging her chest . then she felt a warm hand on her arm . yes, he was the only other one who knew her pain as she felt .

You do not have to read shadowhunters to read this fanfic! Clary thought she was all alone in the world after her mother died and her father left her. Broken and hopelessly lost, she changes from who she once was; all the fire in her seeped out and replaced with icy coldness. People avoid her and she starts to think it is for the best until he comes along.... Jace Herondale finally thinks he has all he wants in life and is finally content.
