A different take on 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' story. Naofumi still gets summoned to Melromarc along with Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki and he's still the shield hero. However, there will be a different twist in Naofumi's fate and Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki try to help him while dealing with their inner feelings for him.

Basically, imagine a story where there are a group of people in the LoTB universe that are stronger than the Creators, then the Celestials, and the Fallen. But their all children. Basically, all of the Undertale souls are the main pillars of the universe and are, in a way, the strongest beings out there. And Atlas, the first kid to go missing(before Chara), can create life and is the strongest among them And these kids have been pulling the strings behind the balancers success, their Basically Little Guardian angels. But they aren't really angels. The balancers need help and discover these kids through one of the creators slipping a secret about their existence, so now the balancwr are going to learn how to strengthen their powers from the strongest people that exist. But that's not how the plan ends up going exactly.....

Well, on the bright side, who wouldn't want to live in their favorite anime, get involved in the plot, and be best friends with the main characters?! You, actually. All you would like is for normalcy, to be with your loving parents and have a happy life. You don't want to, under any circumstances, get involved with the plot or any of the canon characters. You don't want to change it! Not like every other fanfiction you've read before. (Ironic, huh?) But it seems like someone or something out there doesn't want that and keeps pushing you into the lives of your once-beloved characters, along with the plot. So, with the power of knowledge and the cliché reincarnation trope on your side, you keep pushing through unwanted scenarios forced upon you while trying to keep your sorry ass out of it. This is going to be annoying.
