The new Illumia, Nova, suffers due to being seen as a villain even through her efforts to do good like her mother before. Will Nova be able to prove herself and her deceased mother as the heroes they truly are?

Consider this the real story rewrite version of the original. Similar premise, I just want to take this one more seriously. Y/N just moved to the Big Apple, looking to get a job as a professional hero. They get paired up with Hellhound, a no-nonsense rescue hero who doesn't seem interested in anything besides getting the job done.
