After venturing from Alagaesia and raising a new society of riders, sworn to forever protect their country, Eragon and the elves prepare for the next set of unruly students and their dragons. Little did he know that a... different, to say the least... set of dragon riders would come along. Meet the strangest wave of Riders to ever hit Alagaesia: who all happen to be descendants of the so-called extraordinary heroes from the lands the humans had originally ventured from. Penniless and foreign-tongued strangers Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Leo ,Calypso and their immediate families land on a strange island after forty years of living life in Camp Halfblood and Camp Jupiter with no memories of how they got there. It only takes a second for the natives of the strange island to spot Festus Jr. the second. Suddenly, the Heroes of Olympus are destined to be worshipped as gods of Alagaesia by all. When the honorary yearly Ceremony of Riders occurs, it's no surprise that half the lot of dragon eggs crack for eight descendants of the praised Olympians. What is a surprise is the involvement of a new form of evil- unknown to America, Olympus and Alagaesia combined.
