Imagine following in the paws a helpless newborn stray puppy true along Dead Dog Beach leading him into the ruins of an old pier of Play de Guayan'es known as Sato Beach. Sato means "street dog". Located on the southeastern side of Puerto Rico stretching hundreds of miles with no fresh water and where food is sparse; it is unimaginable to say the least. Hershey, now Bentley's official rabies vaccination certificate dated March 22, 2019 estimates he was a scant 7 months old when he was dropped off at Amigos de los Animales shelter en Torrecilla Baja, or Bell Tower Beach. His social-emotional and physiological journey stirs up credible scenarios of his instinctive means of survival, being tenacious in his will t endure and battling the odds of basic human and animal needs. Food, water, sleep, endure, repeat. Learning to trust any living being after experiencing strife and near-death moments seems impossible, unless you are physically starving and left with ONLY one brave decision; Step forward and accept help even when it feels terrifying. Hershey's personal journey envelops the reader, carrying your emotions on his back, enabling you to feel every conceivable raw emotion with each paw print as he moves forward from insecurity to a thriving life in his forever home over 1,700 miles away.

Hershey's Chocolate is everyone's favorite chocolate, just like mother and daughter Hershey and Herschel. Through all the happy and sad days they spent together, there was always Hershey's with them. Just one bite of Hershey's Chocolate will make them happy even if there are only two of them in the world. That's how Hershey's affects them.
