Jesse had wasted the past year of his life wanting to get away from the thing she always thought she wanted. However, after dropping out of her dream university and ditching the only plan she had for her future she was left with no moves but to go back home and start again trying to become what she never thought she wanted. Normal. But meeting Ash is nothing but normal and so is the world he introduced to her. Drawn by his otherworldy theories and ill-timed songs, she found herself tangled by what she is, what she never thought of becoming and what reasons she had to stay. Ash spent all of his life trying to become better at the only thing he's ever good at and to one day be an esports professional. But being stuck in the run-down town and labeled as a delinquent and a computer-addict has led him to believe there is only one way to reach his dream; to leave. Until he found Jesse. -------- I wish someone (even just one person) would enjoy this. I don't know what I'm doing. This is my first time.

DISCLAIMER: I MADE THE COVER IN 6TH GRADE IK ITS THE WRONG *YOU'RE NOW "People just look past me. I couldn't tell you how many people I've walked up to and they had no recognition in their face that there was anyone standing in front of them talking to them. I was always invisible- until I met you." Seventeen year old Desirae is not- I repeat, is NOT a player, or a "baddie". She has a $50 Wal-Mart phone and $5 sneakers for goodness' sakes! She considered herself to be a very average teenage girl. Nice friends, minimal problems with mean girls, and was honestly proud of her 2.6 GPA. Up until the night Valerie decided to have a wild party. That was the start. By the end of the week she had not 1 bad boy and nerd like the stereotypically clichés we have all read, but FIVE new boy "friend" situations on her hand. Desirae does not see a need for her to tell any of these boys that she is uninterested, because its not like any of them are serious, just "talking". Plus, if she COULD get douchebag Carmen off her hands, she would. Formerly "You're my Kryptonite"

Mel fell hard for Duncan last summer, and after their first year at college she's looking forward to finding out if the romance has any chance of thriving when they are re-united at their lake houses. But she's surprised when Duncan brings a friend - a female friend - from Florida straining their friendship and dousing the romance in water colder than any Northwood's lake. Again, they are faced with choices about what they mean to each other: are they destined to be merely friends, or can they find their happily ever after? The Summer We Stumbled is the second book in the Denim Days series.

Dominic is a twenty-five year old musician, trying to hit it big. Music may be art and passion, but it is also business and politics. Dom finds it a frustrating mix for an uncertain future. Returning from a tour, Dom is drawn to nineteen year old college student Charlotte. She may be tiny in stature but becomes a huge presence in his mind. When they talk, he is further intrigued - she's young but weary, skeptical but open, a living and breathing contradiction. Charli considers herself a realist. She likes to work hard and play hard. And while she may party, she doesn't smoke or do drugs. Her life is too busy to worry about dating or something like feelings making things more difficult. Right now the only thing she wants out of life is to connect but not commit. So when Dom shows up, she recognizes a complication when she sees one and tries to stay away. Soon Dom and Charli begin a relationship that neither of them sees coming. Once they are in it are they willing to make the compromises required to keep the show on the road or are they both too hard at their cores to make the band play on?

Shellbi Washington (27) is a successful event planner. A workaholic. A perfectionist. And completely disconnected from anything close to a love life. Roman Johnson (27) is a self-made freelance photographer. He's fine, he knows it, and he's got a bad habit of ghosting women after the first night. He doesn't do commitment-and he likes it that way. Daquan Harris (32) is a smooth-talking entrepreneur who runs his own consulting firm. He's grown, grounded, and always playing the role of big brother, even when nobody asked him to. Lauren Brooks (31) is a rising writer with a sharp tongue, big opinions, and a romantic streak she swears doesn't exist. She's the kind of woman who reads people faster than a book. Four best friends. Two setups. One plan that was supposed to help everyone else find love. But when Daquan and Shellbi try to play matchmaker for their best friends-Roman and Lauren-what starts as one simple night out turns into a chain reaction neither of them saw coming. Lines get crossed. Feelings get messy. And one night changes everything. Disclaimer: This story is a work of fiction and is the original creation of the author.
