{A Hetalia AU} ~A light in the darkness~ Francis Bonnefoy is a 14 year old boy living in Paris, France. He seems to have a great life - a good education, perfect parents, a nice house - but that is not the case. His life is plagued with beatings from his father, alcoholism from his mother, and no recognition from his siblings. He feels alone in this world; lost in the darkness. But then - along comes Arthur Kirkland. Arthur is a 13 year old boy who lived in London, England. Due to the recent death of his older brother, his parents moved to Paris to try to start a new life. Arthur feels lost among the French, and is still grieving over his brother. But then, Francis meets Arthur, and the two of them feel something they've never felt before. Could they be each other's lumière dans l'obscurité? {TRIGGER WARNING!!}

During the 13th century, Francis and Arthur knew each other since they were kids. However, their spiteful nature got them in trouble one night when they ran into a witch. The witch cast a spell on them to live forever by the time they were twenty-six unless they found love within each other. Feeling crushed after losing the war for Alfred's independence, all Arthur could do is go back home and sob. only to find comfort from the last person he expected.

Francis is in love with Feliciano, however, after all his effort of trying to express his feelings, he gets rejected. However, his friend Arthur is there to lift him up even despite trying to hide his feelings for Francis. *edits made*

He was often hated by many, even his own family. There were many reasons why, albeit no one ever tried to love him. To know him. To understand him. If he ever died, would anybody remember him? ----- Just a little note. This oneshot was also to, I suppose, spread awareness? I've been hearing that the United Kingdom has arguably becoming less and less important in the world. Yes, the United Kingdom is still a big power player, but not as much as how it was back then. I wouldn't explain more for this will become too long, but as someone who loves the United Kingdom, I just thought of bringing this up and hopefully letting others know about this; whether it may affect you or not. It will surely just really be a shame to see the United Kingdom crumble and disappear from this world. Though it is inevitable, I just don't want it to be now... My personal take on the origin of 2p Hetalia characters, mainly focusing around England and France. Yes, this is FrUk.

During the midst of World War II, Francis is forced to decide if he should care for a mysterious British soldier or turn him over.

Francis is married to one of the wealthiest women in England, yet despite having everything in this arranged marriage, it's been loveless for the past 5 years. What will happen when he finds out that it was not the fact he was in arranged marriage that made it loveless, but it was because he married a woman.
