Hetty gets adopted by queen Victoria but starts to miss her best guy friend Mathias and what will happen. But Hetty finds the ticket matron was going to use and give it to Mathias. She goes into serves at calendar hall and this is were the story begins.

She still questions whether her choice was right or not but is considerably cheered that she can still see her beloved foster family. Jem is very pleased and slowly begins to become more clingy and attached to Hetty once again. Was this really a good idea? Was it right to stay? Hetty has slight regrets and worries about her dear friend, Janet, not being able to marry Jem anymore. "Follow your heart, Hetty. Mama told me. And I did." [IMPORTANT: I do not own any of the characters in the 'Hetty Feather' series. The owner is Jacqueline Wilson - However, I may add some of my own characters into the story.]
