That he'll come back someday. But the rest of them know the odds, and they aren't great. And the most grounded of them all, Dean. He's trying to keep his team together, like a puppet master reining his strings of the dolls that have minds of their own. But when Dean disappears one day, the rest of them have to get their acts together to find out who's behind this, and who's after their immortalities once again.

Ina has dangerous, life threatening power. Dean just wants normalcy, not abnormalities. Liana can't dig up happiness from under the feeling that nothing will ever change. Greigh has everything, but only really wants to be trusted. Heyden has poisonous secrets hidden behind his mask. Vek has things and people to lose, and he can't risk the outcome. All six of these superhumans have darkness that no one else can see... and it's driving them insane. If they can get everything they want... will it be enough?
