How do you go about life when you know it's a lie? When you know you're not the person you're thought to be? For some its the trill of being someone else. For others, its a burben they never asked for and are too scared to talk about. For 18 year old Tessa, its all she's had for the past 5 years. Placed in Witness Protection after she testified against the one man that was supposed to protect her, She's had to assume the identity of someone else and pretend. After the past 5 years, she meets someone new in her senior class. Can this new person make her realize that she shouldn't need to pretend? Or will she be lost to "Alyssa Maine", the person she's pretened to be the last 5 years of her life?

Cameo is an 18 year old living on her own and exploring life. She's usually a lucky, outgoing girl, until she meets the guy of her dreams, in the least likely place, Alex. They grow to have a strange friendship that even itself, has bumps in the road. They spring to an epic romance that comes with a lot more hate and emotional pain than what you hear normally. They have anything but a normal relationship. Alex is 22 years old, touring, and tries to make ends meet, but will everyone want ends to meet? Who gets left picking up every and all pieces after? Will age get in the way, will the nay sayers win? Or can something beautiful grow out of something tragic and hard? ((An ATL fanfiction.))
