The boys are not famous/in One Direction in the story. Denise moves to Bradford with her dad after her mother gets into a tragic car accident causing her death. She soon makes new friends, and becomes interested in one mysterious boy, Zayn. He has Denise intrigued in his quiet behavior since day one. Zayn has had a terrible life,is practically raising his sister by himself, and no longer believes in love because of his father. Denise becomes determined to fix Zayn's heart, as he becomes compelled to fix hers as well.
