It's late 1969 and the Beatles record a new album and do a few live shows.

The year is 1961. On the day of her 18th birthday, all sorts of strange things start happening to Sloane Lewis, an American girl now living with her grandmother in Liverpool. She must come to terms with her family's long-kept secret; as if 'becoming a woman' wasn't hard enough. It isn't long until a boy with the band playing in dark, dingy basements all across town soon finds himself under her spell.
