Setting- this story takes place in present time in Los Angeles California, At the beginning of the book it has a very dark and dreary mood, for there is usually a thunderstorm going. Characters- The two main characters in this story is Gerard and Luna, Gerard is a new psychologist right out of school he is always very sarcastic to everyone around him which makes him funny, he is the protagonist of this story. Luna is the second character, she is the antagonist of this story, she is quite moody and very short-tempered and will freak out at you for no reason, she likes to give Gerard a hard time. Plot- This book is about a man who is just fresh out of university who very luckily gets a job at an insane asylum to be the psychologist of a patient named luna, but when Gerard gets there luna is extremely rude and mean to him, after a few months of trying to help her Gerard finally gets through to her and realizes she's not crazy and tries to help her escape the asylum
