In reality, he ran away with Toothless - the night before he was supposed to kill the monstrous Nightmare. Far away from Berk, Hiccup builds a completely new life with dragons - but his past is slowly, inevitably catching up with him...

A HTTYD story after HTTYD 3. Toothless and the other dragons stayed at New Berk instead of going to the hidden world the only dragon that visits every now and then from the hidden world to new Berk is the light fury.

Percy and Annabeth were designing a new vanity and wardrobe for the goddess Lady Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, when suddenly Annabeth found a hurt creature at the very back side of Camp Half-Blood. a/n: i don't own the characters, the pictures, the characters' appearance or their backstories. all credits to Uncle Rick Riordan and all the participants of the HTTYD (How to Train Your Dragon) movies. i only own the plot, and i also created a few characters to span the story a bit. please know this is only work of fanfiction. thank you and enjoy reading :))

For years, Hiccup wanted to be accepted by his Viking village but apparently he was just too skinny, scrawny, caused destruction and just couldn't do anything the Viking way and he tried to prove that his way could work. But then he was told by his crush that he needed to figure out which side he was on. Well, he knew what the Viking side offered. Neglect, bullying and isolation. Time to go see what the Dragon side had to offer. The Unholy Offspring of Lightning and Death itself as a companion and a large dinosaur as a friend? Well, that's tempting, isn't it?

It's the story of a young Viking. Actually, he isn't that young anymore. He's 23 years old now. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. Follow the brave Viking on a journey filled with joy, pain and even love, as he comes back to Berk... quite unexpectedly. 20/07/18: Changed the dialogue format and corrected a few grammatical errors. Astrid later runs away to escape an arranged marriage to Snotlout, finding herself in a strange and wonderful world. She makes friends with a pair of wild twins, a dragon who disappears, a young man who likes to make outfits, an elusive white dragon, and a few other crazies. ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern. The writing quality is all over the place, so my apologies if some are hard reads. A little angst, a little humor and a lot of fluff! Just cuteness!! Please leave a suggestion or feedback! Chief Hiccup Haddock and his wife, Chieftess Astrid are proud parents of two beautiful children. Life was going peaceful, the chief was happy that he got to meet his best bud after years of being apart and was even more happy to share the moment with his children. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. The peace was short-lived as some ships have been spotted heading towards the Isle of New Berk. Hunter activities have also been spotted and the dragons are threatened. Will Chief Hiccup and the Dragon Riders raise once again to save all of Dragonkind from those who wish to bring them harm? Will Hiccup and Toothless, a chief and a king, former partners join forces once again? Will they succeed or will they succumb to the pressure? Will they able to protect their loved ones? Only time will tell. Old faces will arise, both friends and foes alike.
