What if hiccup ran away?.... I know, it's a story over told. But, this time, when our lovely little dragon rider runs away, He finds something beyond his wildest dreams. In a land wierd enough that he could possibly, maybe fit in, Could he... could he even find a new home? The story of Hiccup the Dragonrider, the inventor, the adventurer, and Knight of the order of the Lion. When Aslan takes hold of man's fate he weaves it in wonderous ways. The fullness of it known only to him....

It's my first story and english isn't my first language, plus I suck at grammar (in any language). Ok, since I've already told you sm ab myself let's talk about this fanfic. To begin it isn't related to genshin in anyway. I only used this quote from venti bc I think it perfectly describes the concept of freedom. This is a runaway httyd fanfic and there probably won't be any romance in it, that means no hiccstrid (well at least for now, idk maybe I will change my mind later). The storyline is really similar to all the other httyd runaway fanfics. Hiccup is an outcast, he shots a night fury and befriends him, he starts the dragon training with other teenagers and he runs away before he's chosen as the one who gets to kill the monstrous nightmare. The rest of the plot will remain a secret for now and if you want to you can find out your self what awaits hiccup and Berk. (☞ ᐛ )☞hope you'll like it my friend

When Hiccup runs away from Berk he finds himself in the empire of Rome. After years he's been welcomed in, made friends, gone on adventures and lived a life he could never had dreamed of in Berk. But now war looms. Drago Bludvist wants to wipe dragons and those who ally themselves with them off the map, conquering any land that has been touched by draconic existence. And standing with him in the shadows is celestial meddling. Hiccup and his friends must protect their home and dragons, but Drago has brought the Vikings into this, and homecoming may be what lies upon the horizon. So with the help of a Roman legion, dragon army, tribes of Vikings and possibly a little celestial help of their own, maybe Hiccup will stand a chance. Maybe. But he has to amass those forces first. Monthly updates. May not be Hiccstrid, don't know for sure.

Sometimes this can lead to madness, or in some cases it can lead to cold hard ruthless determination, or, just a moment of decision making. And this decision can be something small or something big. After Hiccup messes up for the third time that week, a record even he himself was surprised he broke, things get worse for him. And after he discovers an elusive deadly species of dragon eating fish in his backyard. Things change. They change fast. Some might even say, the old way of life...left. *Undergoing Rewrite* *Not the cliche storyline* The threat of war looms over Hiccup's shoulders as he tries to keep the peace between the Dragon Hunters, Defenders of the Wing, and his former tribe, Berk. He left his home ten years ago to live in peace with his dragon, and since then has discovered a world full of magic. Across the archipelago, dragon attacks mercilessly pound the Berkians, destroying their soil and any chance for surviving the winter. With no other options, Stoick leads and expedition to find the legendary 'Dragon Master' in hopes he can help defeat their enemy. Arriving at the island however, they quickly learn that the survival of Berk barely crosses the peoples' minds as they continue to fight their own losing battle against an enemy that could destroy the entire realm. For the sake of their people, Hiccup crosses the barrier that separates the mortal and magical realm and is shocked to find the family secrets that had been frozen in time.

After hearing his dad talking about him hiccup decides it's time to leave....

A typical watching the movie fic... with a few twists. Hiccup is unloved, unwanted, and unknown. He is forgotten more often than not, even with his newfound 'popularity'. He doesn't even hesitate in running away. But when he is in the air after flying away from Berk for the final time, having been chosen to kill the Nightmare, he and the entire population of Berk are suddenly teleported to a mysterious room, where a voice in the air tells them that they are going to watch a movie. Could this get any worse? Yeah, it can. There's a barrier between the Vikings and the dragons, which Hiccup cannot cross, and the Red Queen (Red Death) is linked into the Network. Not to mention the fact that the whole village is going to see what he did... yay. Fun.

Hiccup runs away from Berk with Toothless (after the fight with the Nadder in the ring). Astrid never stopped him and the romantic flight never happened. Many years later, Hiccup has built a new life for himself where his talents are appreciated and he is well-respected. He has many allies and friends, but also many enemies. He hopes to never return to Berk, but unforeseen circumstances force his hand: and he must face his past, in order to have a future. Hiccup must find a way to protect everything he has worked so hard for, and he must decide whether save the people who once called him a "fishbone". I have a lot of exams coming up and I'm trying really hard to do well, I won't say that this story is on hiatus, because a lot of people do that and then the story is abandoned.
