When the great winters winds crossed the village of Berk and the kingdom of DunBroch, a sickness fell upon its great leaders leaving them soon to be dead. Now It's up to Hiccup and Merida to find a witch to conjure up a spell to save their parents. Between the viking and the princess these once enemies turns into a secret friendship , as Merida teaches Hiccup about her kingdom as he promises to teach her about dragons. As the seasons pass will their friendship grow into something more?

When she was ten, Merida washed up on the shorers of Berk with no memory. For years she was Hiccup only friend until he trained Toothless. Now they'er both 20 and engaged. Things couldn't be more perfect. But when word that Drago maybe causing trouble in Scotland. Will Merida find who she really is?

When DunBroch is attacked by dragons, Merida takes her brothers and flees, leaving her home behind her. When they wash up on the shores of Berk, what happens when she's offered a new home?

Merida is ready to accept the crown and the responsibility as queen. Reluctant, but ready. Her parents are ready to step down and relax and raise their boys. But some of the lord's and their sons are quick to reject. While they can accept a slight break in tradition, there has never been a solo monarch, especially not a Queen! The only way Merida can prove she's up to the task is to do the impossible: mend the rift between the Highlanders and the Berkians. A task that many rulers have failed to do. After all, Stoik the Vast and his father were some of the most stubborn men in history. But perhaps this new Viking Chief will be open to reason. Who knows? After all, she's accomplished more challenging tasks. A.N. Just so you know, Merida will be getting a dragon. His name will be Breacan, named after a Norse king from Scottish lore. Breacan will be a Stormcutter. If you are unfamiliar with that dragon, there's a wiki page that has all the info. I'll be using for it. Also, Valka's dragon Cloud Jumper is a Stormcutter. Also, I love Hiccstrid, but for this fic to work, Hiccup and Astrid cannot be together. So I'm gonna have them be best friends. Personally, I don't think Astrid needs to be paired with a guy, she's a bad-ass warrior and she don't need no man.
