Humanity believes itself to be the final product of evolution. From fish that crawled out of the water and onto land, through apes that learned to stand on two feet, to humans who came to claim the world as their own. But evolution was not the only path. Ancient beings awakened through their origins and took on the efficient, yet threatening form of humans. They watched humanity from the mountains, the skies, and the forests, guarding the territories that had always been theirs. Bears who carried the strength of mountains, serpents who learned to read patterns instead of time, tigers born with the instinct to dominate, eagles who never looked away from above. All of them took human form, and all of them defended their domains. For centuries, a single pact-witnessed by mountains and seas-held firm. Until humanity broke it. Armed forces, driven by ideology and belief, crossed into forbidden lands. And when ancient guardians answered with roars powerful enough to tear reality apart, a war began- not between nations, but between origins. This is a story of two kinds of people: those who evolved by forgetting where they came from, and those who became human by remembering. As bloodlines collide and history is rewritten, one question remains. Was humanity ever meant to rule this world alone?

What if the most dangerous rebellions never made it into history? Before banners could rise... before speeches could be heard... before resistance could become legend-it was already over. This dark, strategic Twilight universe story exposes the hidden war that never reached daylight, where rebellion didn't fail-it was erased. Deep beneath Volterra's ancient stones, a quiet movement formed. Not reckless. Not emotional. Calculated. Immortals who understood the system too well began coordinating beyond the Volturi's laws. No violence. No noise. Only intent. And that is why they were unstoppable. -until they were noticed. As Marcus senses bonds forming outside sanctioned loyalty, Caius demands immediate destruction. No trials. No mercy. Prevention over punishment. But it is Aro who makes the most dangerous choice of all: invisibility. No public executions. No martyrs. No memory. Because the greatest power is not terror-it is silence. What follows is a chilling dismantling of rebellion at its most vulnerable stage: Leaders removed before they are known Networks severed before they are visible Evidence buried before history can remember No battles. No heroes. No witnesses. Only obedience... perfected. This book explores the true machinery of control inside the Volturi, revealing how absolute power survives not through spectacle, but through preemptive erasure. It is a story about surveillance, loyalty, manipulation, and the terrifying idea that resistance can be denied existence itself. Perfect for readers who love: Dark Twilight lore and Volturi-centered stories Psychological power struggles and strategic dominance Secret histories, erased rebellions, and unseen wars Aro, Caius, and Marcus portrayed as ruthless immortals High-stakes tension without open conflict If you've ever wondered how tyranny lasts forever- this is the answer they never wanted written. Because the most successful rebellion... is the one no one ever knows existed.

[Editing... NOT COMPLETED!] Over a certain amount of time after the trials ended and Apollo was back to his full and utter glory. All was well. Until... Suddenly gods stopped claiming their children and went silent. Both Camp Jupiter and Camp Half Blood discussed the situation, and they sent three kids on a quest to Olympus to find the reason of the gods' silence. However as time passed, the kids never came back. They sent three more campers after them, but they didn't come back either. Chiron temporary leader of Camp Half Blood didn't take this as a good sign. He ordered everyone to stay at their camps and to not leave the state since it was declared and assumed unsafe. After a few days two teens appeared at Camp Half Blood, a boy with grey eyes and a girl with a rose engraved dagger. They knew they were demigods and were slightly informed of the god's silence but, had no real fighting experience really. One thing that was mysterious about them was that the girl was 16 and not claimed and the boy was 17 and not claimed, even before recent claiming issue. Then in October, the tides began to rise. Percy Jackson noticed this first, being the son of Poseidon, he felt the balance of the ocean shift. It was less noticed until they started to become more and more frequent. The Camps held another meeting about the more recent situation but only came down to the conclusion recording the activity of the waves since it was dangerous for a non-child of Poseidon/Neptune to go out to sea. This had been going on for months, up until April 1, the waves started becoming more violent, most beaches in the U.S shut down because of the dangers of the waves and rising temperatures. And since the two teens no other demigod showed up, until one did. And came to turn the tide... __________________________________________ ✨ Updates every 2 weeks on Monday! ✨

The Earth is changing-not through war, climate, or disaster, but through an impossible, ceaseless expansion. Every year, new land emerges at the planet's edges, stretching its surface ever outward. To navigate this phenomenon, the Union of the Seven States sends explorers beyond the known world. Some return with knowledge, others with warnings. Many never return at all. But there is another secret the Union keeps hidden. Long ago, there were not seven states, but eight. The Eighth State did not vanish by chance-it was erased. Its lands, its people, and its purpose faded into history as the Union quietly claimed what remained. Their export, once vital, became obsolete. Their existence, inconvenient. Now, a new team of explorers embarks on a perilous journey into the uncharted lands. When they stumble upon ruins unlike any before, they uncover whispers of the lost state-evidence that it never truly disappeared. Because the Eighth State is still out there. Watching. Waiting. Faced with buried truths, deadly ambushes, and a revelation that could shatter the world's foundations, the explorers must uncover the fate of the lost state before they, too, are erased from history. Adventure. Mystery. Survival. In a world that never stops growing, how far is too far?

( not mine. only for offline reading. ) author: YONEZAWA Honobu Oreki Houtarou is a self-proclaimed "energy-saver" - that is, he will not actively waste energy doing things that aren't necessary. Though he had no interest whatsoever in joining any clubs upon entering Kamiyama High School, he was commanded by his older sister Tomoe to enter the school's Classics Club, which was in danger of getting abolished as all previous members have graduated. Together with his old friends Fukube Satoshi and Ibara Mayaka, as well as the elegantly ladylike and curiously inquisitive Chitanda Eru, the newly reformed Classics Club find themselves involved in all sorts of mystery-solving escapades. Houtarou soon finds out that the Classics Club, as Tomoe has promised, is actually "quite interesting". And so begins the "Classics Club Series". found this at: readlightnovel.me

"Life in this city is a double-edged sword; it binds you in warmth but bleeds you in deceit. For every whispered vow of love, there lurks a silent oath of betrayal." In the intricate tapestry of a city named Talseth, divided by power and secrets, Amren, a young changeling and student of the arcane, is drawn into a labyrinth of hidden histories and forbidden magic. Her quest for knowledge leads her to unearth truths that threaten the delicate balance of her world. Amidst the shadows of a city where noble intrigue runs deep, she finds herself entangled in a game that blurs the lines between allies and adversaries. As she dives deeper into the mysteries of her heritage and the city's tumultuous past and future, Amren's path crosses with Elian, a figure who challenges her understanding of friendship and loyalty. Together, they navigate a world where trust is a rare commodity, and every revelation brings them closer to a confrontation with forces that seek to shape the destiny of their city. In a tale where knowledge is as dangerous as it is powerful, Amren must confront the cost of uncovering secrets and the price of wielding the truth. --------------------------------- notes: this was written based on one of my dungeons and dragons characters from a campaign I recently finished, so most of the lore, magic, and history is pulled from that universe. I was inspired to write up her backstory, which then snowballed into this wonderful story that became so much more! this is as it stands a first draft as I learn how to be a better writer!
