Hunter's only escape from reality is baking, girls and his best friend, Daniel. Anne's only escape from reality are books, and her brother's best friend, Hunter. Anne wasn't planning on losing. She's already lost enough-including time with her Egyptian mother, who is always stuck at work. But when her shoes disappear from her gym locker, it brings other things closer to her. Hunter has never been a loser. In fact, he secretly prides himself on two things: the mouthwatering pastries he makes at work and the female attention he gets every time he climbs off his motorbike. Not. A. Loser. Yet, he constantly battles the voices his father planted in his head-voices that tell him he'll never be enough.

Five, different, orphaned teens Jake , Amber, Zane, Luna, and Kris must come together after Jakes brother, Milo is kidnapped by the hands of the evil Shadow King who dictates a magical realm hiding beneath there noises. It won't be an easy rescue with many obstacles along the way including each other. Friendships will be made and relationships tested all to find out there more than just orphans. Royal Blood even.
