The tree stood very tall in the front yard where everyone could see it. It's branches were full of red, yellow, and green leaves. Whenever he asked a family member about the tree he was told it would help him in times of need, which confused him even more. How could a tree help him in a time of need? Yes, the tree is a living thing but it couldn't speak or anything. So how could it help Jonah? A couple of years passed and the tree was of no use to Jonah. Sometimes he even wondered if his family was trying to trick him, but later that year Jonah realized they were serious.
