HideKane fanfic (Tokyo Ghoul) Kaneki and his beloved fall in love, but everything is short lived and Hide does what he must to save his only true love. However something seems a little strange, is everything really how it seems to be?

// kaneki x hide [au] // Hideyoshi Nagachika is a sophomore in college and moves into a condo near the University he attends. Little did Hide know that the condo he lived in was previously owned by a college student like him that died there and is condemned to stay until he is given permission to leave by the current owner. Kaneki Ken does the smallest of favors for Hide such as making the coffee in the morning because the klutz always managed to be late, and tucking him into bed as he turns off the tv Hide left on. But in the process, Kaneki finds himself wanting to protect and love Hide. When Hide and Kaneki cross paths, things change drastically.

Kaneki is scared of lightning, so Hide decides to stay over.

Hide knew all along that something was wrong with the young lazy Rize Kamishiro. He was always observant, and Rize just couldn't be trusted. The way she looked at Kaneki just didn't sit right with him. He tries convincing Kaneki to let her go, saying that she's completely out of Ken's league. Ken doesn't listen, so instead, he follows them on their "perfect" date, and everything changes.

Ken Kaneki was a mystery for anybody who isn't Hideyoshi Nagachika. But when a ghoul incident takes place and whirrs Kaneki's life out of control, not even Nagachika himself could figure him out. In futile attempts, terrifying situations, and arising feelings, Ken Kaneki was now a known metaphor for mystery for everyone, including Hide. But as if that's going to stop him from doing everything in his will to protect Kaneki. mamori tai (守りたい) - a japanese word meaning, "i'll protect you" - Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters and such, this is purely a work of fiction for the characters of the anime/manga, Tokyo Ghoul. During the raid on Anteiku, moments before Arima can kill him, he gets transported back to Hogwarts when the Goblet of Fire chooses him as the fourth champion. As luck would have it they're learning about ghouls this year and who better to teach them than the CCG?

Tokyo Ghoul AU where Hide is still at college and Kaneki is working two jobs to earn enough money to buy a new house. Along the way of both succeeding to accomplish a goal, they both end up finding one another interesting. . .

Oh great. It changed my story's information again. Uggggh.. You know what? F it. I'm not redoing my summary, title, and tags again. All you need to know is that this is a story about Kane and Kaneki (twins) who were kidnapped, tortured, possibly raped, who knows. They are now on the path to recovery, and this is basically what this story's about. Disclaimer: I don't own Tokyo Ghoul (:re).

Kaneki Ken was a boy who died a few weeks ago, having been tortured by Jason. But he didn't move on. He's stuck on Earth as a ghost, and the only person who can see him is his best friend, Hideyoshi Nagachika. Hide took Kaneki's death pretty hard, so it's lucky that Kaneki is still here. Hide even forgot some moments in his life - including when he and Anteiku found Kaneki Ken. With Kaneki by his side, perhaps his slight amnesia won't become a problem. But that doesn't mean seeing a ghost and communicating with them isn't an issue on its own. Disclaimer: I don't own Tokyo Ghoul (:re), but I have officially finished reading it now. Warnings: uhmm.. yaoi? Slight amnesia, I don't know what warnings are anymore, I'm sorry. I'm also sorry about that horrible, weird title, but I didn't know what to call it.. Oh yay, it's giving me crud again. Extra Tags: Did you know ghouls can lift things and consume things? I didn't either; Kaneki's a ghost who can supposedly drink coffee; poor Hide can't handle his best friend's death; I honestly don't really know what this is

A messy haired boy, still yet to lose his youthful appearance, jumped out from behind Kaneki, grabbing his shoulders, knocking him to the ground in the process. Collecting himself off the hard linoleum kitchen floor, Kaneki pointedly glared at the attacker. Despite the hostility being directed towards him, the boy only smiled wider. Sighing, Kaneki stood up, and fixing a stern look, he firmly stated, "Hide, can't you see I'm working? What if I was carrying coffee cups? And they broke?" Hide only proceeded to cross his arms behind his head and roll his eyes instead. "Well, you weren't holding anything. Plus, even if you did drop anything, the angry purple haired girl isn't here to yell at you." "You mean Touka?" Kaneki clarified. Hide shrugged, instead offering out his hand for Kaneki to take hold of. Taking Hide's hand and pulling himself, Kaneki dusted the dust off of his uniform. Turning to face Hide, Kaneki sighed, before asking, "Why are you here?"
