As solitary explorer Jason Merrow ventures into a mysterious cave in Kentucky, referred to as Grendel's Maw, he plunges into an abyss that holds more than mere darkness-it reveals something primordial and sentient. Far beneath the surface, reality warps, mystical symbols illuminate, and a terrifying being stirs from its slumber. Jason narrowly escapes but emerges profoundly traumatized, rendered mute in a mental health facility, troubled by a single word: "Abyss." There is still a presence lurking below, observant and patient. And it craves.

It's all a cycle
