Instead, an old colleague pulls him into a string of violent noble incidents: whispers, rumors, and sudden bloodshed that all point to a single puppeteer lurking in the shadows. As Shou digs deeper, he uncovers a web of lies stretching across nations... He realizes it may lead him to a man he vowed to slaughter many years ago.

Franic Elderween is a young Highelf who has no real identity, no real friends, no sense of direction and absolutely no understanding of love. After rejecting the Thalmor, and everything they stand for, he left Summerset Isle for good, in hope of a new life some place else. He soon comes into contact with a young Redguard named Revel, whom helps him get back on tracks to a new, prosperous life in Skyrim. (This story is not perfect, I'm just writing and publishing so don't expect too much. Also, fun fact, both Francis and Revel are my actual Skyrim characters I've played in game with full back stories because I'm a elderscrolls nerd..)

Along the border of the Realm of Man, one tiny tilt in the Balance will shake the very foundations of The Nine Realms... Calais Erbryn (or Callie, as she prefers to be called) knows who and what she is. She has been groomed for her role all her life. Her family, and the families that make up the town of Nerem, are not your average townsfolk. Each of them comes from a long line of people born with a natural talent for harnessing the forces of the natural world around them...Adepts who can wield tangible magic. But don't call them witches... Her parents, along with 11 other Adepts, sit as The Circle, the governing (guiding, rather) body that serves as counselor, mediator, judge, and jury. But their world is not a completely safe one, and each Adept in line to take a seat vacated by an Elder Adept is assigned to a protector on their 18th birthday. This protector is known as the Guardian. Their sole duty is to follow one order, regardless of what they must do in order to carry out that one order: Ensure the continuation of the life of the Adept they are Assigned to regardless of the cost. The Shifters in the neighboring town are growing restless, and the residents of Nerem are rocked by the arrival of several Alder Faefolk...ancient beings who are presented as descendants of the long-departed Fae, but whom are rumored to be the Fae themselves. The Faefolk are Equalizers of the Balance, but when they discover a tilt beyond the scope of their skills, they flee to Nerem to seek Sanctuary amongst the Adepts. Even worse, Callie's 18th birthday is tonight.

[TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH OFFICIALLY BY THE AUTHOR, VerySwagVeryPog (Diah)] "Adopting a mother is not a good thing to follow." Yinerva, a pickpocket who works at rich people's parties using a magic spell her mother passed down to her, has to get out of her comfort zone. Mrs. Katrin, the owner of a run-down apartment on the outskirts of Indriath where she lives, tells Yinerva to join the Adventurer's Organization because she has been unemployed for a long time. (Yinerva doesn't say that she is a pickpocket, of course). Even though she already considers her as her biological mother because of Katrin's excessively kind treatment, Yinerva still thinks that the organization is only for diligent people. Then the mixed-blood woman seems to learn a spell from Yinerva; "You might meet a handsome man there." Oh my. Don't adopt a mother, guys. They will tell you to join the local scout team with a reasonable excuse. Yinerva still can't believe she signed the adventurer's contract. #Credit# Character illustration: AI, with prompts from VerySwagVeryPog Book cover: VerySwagVeryPog (Canva) Pramata map: VerySwagVeryPog (Inkarnate, Canva) © Diah2024

Death called out to her. It called out to every high elf on the battlefield who had just faced the terror of war. Shrill cries of agony vibrated the earth, but she could hear nothing. The flames had licked her ears and desensitized her hearing, distracted by the fierce purr of heat. Bodies fell and the ground ached. She was blinded by pure red and saw nothing but blood. Her body felt heavy and her eyes saw a blurred light in the distance, hand extending out to touch its faint glow. She took a deep breath and water flooded into her lungs. If this was the fate that was laid out for her, then so be it. Aelindra would accept the judgment of the light, even if it meant death. __________________ This is the story of Aelindra Lightreaver, a high elf sheltered by the light's sacred teachings, who learns to tap into her innate sense of adventure and curiosity to find inner peace. Vision skewed by high-elven standards, she struggles to gain her own approval whilst trying to please those important to her. As a servant of the light, it comes as a surprise when the only being to truly help her attain an enlightened state of mind is none other than the troll loa of graves and death itself, Bwonsamdi. __________________ (Story is set in the Warcraft universe. I own nothing but my character, Aelindra Lightreaver and any other OC that appears in the story.) [Bwonsamdi x OC] (Aelindra is pronounced Ay-LIN-dra)

High Elven Mages and Druids of the ancient elven lands of Kaelthun came together for one reason - to save elvenkind. Kaelthun was at war with the Human Kingdoms of Teslath with four of its Kings. Several Elven kingdoms were destroyed, forcing several hands to do the unthinkable. Six magic users gathered at the border of the Kingdom of Telessi to conjure from the darkest pit of energy - the Abyss. The six Elves created a fissure in the ground that forced a shadowy veil to erupt straight up into the air. This veil of abyssal energy completely isolated the eastern Kingdoms of Kaelthun from the rest of the continent. The actions of those six Elves saved thousands more Elves from certain death. No one from outside of the veil can enter, but there are consequences for using such dark magic. Allowing a consistent source of Abyssal magic into the world caused the eastern part of Kaelthun to fall into an eternal night. High Elves and Lowland Elves a like became infected by the blast of abyssal magic causing them to mutate. Being exposed to so much darkness was transformative. The Elves became darker - skin tones ranging from a faint purple to a crescent grey. Hair can be several dark shades and eyes generally are silver, blue, and very rarely are black. These are Elves now call themselves Stygian Elves and it is time for a new kingdom to rise on the continent of Kaelthun. A Kingdom of Night and Shadows - the Stygian Elves have come.

Kaylenn Illusarion, royal historian for the Kingdom of Valeron, has just made the discovery of his lifetime. After pouring over dozens of ancient tomes and records, he's found evidence that he believes could lead him to the long-lost Library of Zophira, Goddess of Knowledge. The only problem? The King of Valeron will not give him the resources he needs to go on the expedition, feeling it a waste of the kingdom's time. With no other options, Kaylenn is referred to the Legends of Valeron, a group of skilled and talented adventurers-Nick Ashcroft, a holy knight, Eradin Winterhallow, an elven wizard, Khurtz Helmsplitter, an orc barbarian, Thalia Evergreen, a dwarf ranger, and Miira Moonflower, a wood elf rogue-all of which are more than capable enough to watch Kaylenn's back. Which is good, because Kaylenn will need all the help he can get. After all, he's not the only one looking for the lost library...
