In a world of sorcery , high elves and shifters there lies a tale of old. It tells the story of a young girl corrupt and evil setting out to fulfil her destiny of wiping out the ancient humans. it took centuries before the high council sent their armies to save the species. However it was in vein the young girl had succeeded in her mission. The humans were no more. Slowly over time the planet returned to its natural state the grass and trees grew in every square inch of the land. The ice settled and the ocean calmed. All was at peace. Or so it seemed. Ten thousand years after the mass extinction of the human race a small princess is born. To a high elven King, she is to rule over all of Lycania. Although it is her birth right her cruel father refuses to allow a female to rule the kingdom. They are good for nothing other than bearing children and being a nuisance. Alone and frightened she escapes the palace , her own personal hell. She must learn the true value of her kingdom if she wishes to one day rule it. Hidden messages and strange riddles left behind by her late mother will take her on an adventure like no other. The peace of Lycania lies in her hands. If she fails her father will rule for all of eternity and the land will be in eternal misery. Will Lycania live in peace once more or will they fall to the same fate as the human race. driven to extinction by greed and want of land. The fate of the kingdom lies with her. One of these was the land of Ulthuan, home of the High Elves. Before the war, a sect became known as the Dark Elves in a war for supremacy with their purer brethren. However, the Three Factions came. They killed most contenders for the Phoenix Throne, the highest rank of authority for the Elves of Ulthuan, and brought devastation in a bid to ensure one side or the other did not receive their aid. As a result, the two peoples came together as one, as their homeland burned and their very culture lay in ruins. They rallied under the command of Alith Anar, the Shadow King, and his two sons. Aethanor and (Y/N). The only Elven royalty to remain out of the invaders' grasp. The surviving Elves came together to form the Shadow Warriors and the Horadrim, the Shadow Warriors led by Alith Anar and Aethanor, whilst the Horadrim was led by (Y/N), who became known as the Eye of the Shadow Crown. However, one day, Alith Anar and Aethanor fell in one of the largest battles of the war. The remnants of Ulthuan's elves rallied under the banner of the now-reformed Horadrim. (Y/N), Lord of the Shadow Crown and Heir to the Phoenix Throne is now left to lead his people. And just like the Shadow Warriors of old, he and his people wanted one thing. Vengeance. Under his command, (Y/N) drew more and more to his banner. Humans, Elves, and eventually the Beastmen of the Undergrowth. Under his banner, his people are given purpose, and that is to repay the treatment they all received from the three factions during the war. What shall happen, when the survivors of countless atrocities finally come out of hiding? When they begin to take the war to the homes of their past aggressors. When they deliver retribution for the transgressions of the three factions?

An infant is found to be the only survivor of a human village just outside of the elven forest. The elves come to investigate not wanting the dead bodies to cause problems. They find the infant with her dead mother surrounded by dead invaders. There is no identity, no way to find relatives, and no way of even knowing if the father of the baby survived elsewhere. The elves try to find a human home for the infant and fail. The general of the elven army and his wife the high priestess of their goddess take the child in and teach her of the ways of the elves. Yet all good things must come to an end, at eighteen years of age, far younger than the elven youth trained by the girl's adoptive father she is told that there is no more that they can teach her and she must now leave and make her way in the human world. Now she must embark on living in the human world that she never knew leaving behind the only life, the only people she's ever known. Just what is Jessa going to do now and how is she going to fit into this world, when she never fit into the world she's leaving behind?
