For nearly 300 years, the Normingtons and the Lorimers have feuded, since a love affair ended in a curse that doomed dead Lorimers to haunt their home, the Castle of Lorne. Now the last Marquis of Lorne, the last of the Lorimers, is one of those ghosts, and the Duke of Kendal, head of the House of Normington, holds the castle. Kendal doesn't care about the feud or the ghosts. He wants only to find the evidence that will legitimate the son his Lorimer bride bore him before her death, and to convince his stubborn housekeeper to marry him. But the time allotted to the curse is running out, and his happiness depends on finding the Lost Treasure of Lorne before the 300 years draws to a close.

This is just something for me to do and another place to post them. I don't have the best camera quality lmao but oh well, I try. All of my walks are with a family friend, whom I call my aunt and sometimes we're joined with my dog Kyle, her dog (Kyle's dad) Rowan and maybe her daughter or Husband. Sometimes my sister, Zoe, comes and joins in but it is very rare.

By South American standards, Bolivia is not large, but it's bigger than most European countries, and about three times the size of Germany. It's a country of contrasting landscapes and people. Its western part is dominated by the vast highlands, at about 4,000 m of altitude, including Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. The western and eastern cordilleras of the Andes Mountains are their borders. They are an extensive pasture for sheep and cows, and the occasional llama, or alpaca. The air at this altitude is starved of oxygen, making it hard to breathe. The eastern cordillera is equally expansive as the highlands. There are endless mountain peaks. And to the east of them are the vast lowlands, which make up more than two thirds of Bolivia's landmass. We spent all of our time in and around the Lake Titicaca area, with the exception of a brief excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flats, a large lake that dried up eons ago, leaving a sea of salt behind.

"The carpet of forest, rolling hills and the loch branching the streams like the branches of an old oak was truly a sight to behold. Many small rivers giving life to the loch; like Scotland's people giving her the fight She needed to regain Her freedom. Allison and I were one of them." In the year 1297, the drums of war echo across the Scottish mountains. Life is rough for any man in the rugged highlands, fighting to maintain their freedom from the determined English. Marian McKeegan knows these struggles all too well, as after her home is invaded by soldiers, she is forced to flee into the highlands, alongside her father's prized highland cow, Allison. The wild mountains hold both extreme dangers and beauty, the unforgiving pushing both girl and beast to the brink as they push through the volatile land ravaged by war to sanctuary. Their only chances of survival are each other.

Few have ever dared to cross the boundaries--until now... With a quarter century of burning hatred between the inhabitants of the Isle of Stone, Kayla knows all too well it is forbidden to cross boundaries. But that doesn't keep her from being sorely tempted. Drawn to discover the secrets beyond the tree witches' forest, Kayla is intrigued by the talk of unconventional rock concerts in gargoyle territory. But when she risks everything to sneak away from the coven, she never expects to return night after night, not just for the music, but for one particular gargoyle who captured her heart with his guitar. Nor did she expect that her attention had not gone unnoticed... With plans to seduce the pixie-like female, Mason spent several nights keeping a watchful eye on his prize, unaware she's not just a passing visitor. But when he discovers she's a tree witch, an enemy to his entire kind, Mason knows that anything between them would be forbidden. No matter how strong the temptation... But other elements command their attention. Something much more dangerous haunts the wolf shifters of the isle.... With the magic veil thinning there will be blood... and the full moon is coming. Knights of Stone: Mason is the first book in a shifter romance with a Highland touch and a hard hit of rock romance, If you like hot men in kilts, dark paranormal thrills, and forbidden love, then you'll be hooked by the Highland Gargoyles Series!

'So, I guess we're stuck on this island together for the next year.' 'Looks like it. And,' he grinned wickedly, his electric blue eyes sparking, 'it appears I'm your boss.' 'I think you'll find the Consultant is my boss.' 'Nah, he's more your boss' boss. You're my bitch for this year.' What the hell? How had the day I had looked forward to for the last six years turned into such a disaster? Was it too late to transfer hospitals? After six years of gruelling medical studies, Emma is finally a newly-qualified doctor. The only issue: she's going to be working in remote Scotland, whilst her handsome and hugely successful boyfriend starts a prestigious academic fellowship in Canada - over three thousand miles away. Long-distance was never going to be a picnic, but then Emma discovers that her high-school ex-boyfriend is also working in the same tiny hospital and, worse still, appears to be her boss for the year - a role he is only too happy to lord over her, given her breaking his heart just five years ago.

This piece isn't fiction, though it speaks in the voice of story. It's a remembrance - for a people, a language, and a landscape that survived centuries of conquest and silence. My bloodline traces through those hills and borders, through families who lost their homes, their words, and their songs - yet somehow kept the flame alive. Celtic culture has too often been turned into costume, myth into merchandise. This writing is my way of giving it back its heartbeat. Every name, every god, every season we once marked with fire still belongs to us. May this be read not as bitterness, but as love - fierce, remembering love. For those who were silenced, and for those still learning to speak again. We are not relics. We are flame. And the flame still speaks our names.
