To those who look forward to the next time they can close their eyes and dream themselves away to a place where magic is real. To those who read an unhealthy amount of fiction to disappear into a world where they can fly high enough to touch the skies. And to the stars who listen. Nyx is starting to grow into himself, not just as heir and Illyrian warrior. He has grown from child to a promising young future high lord of the Night Court. The connection between mates. The instant rush of emotion for the unknown shadowsinger was only interrupted by her disappearance in the shadow realm with the attacker. It becomes not only a challenge to figure out who his mate could be, but also how to defeat the rouge group presenting itself in efforts to tear apart the peace between courts. Keres has always known one thing, that her younger brother would be high lord someday. As the firstborn daughter of the high lord of summer, she as a female was a disappointment. However a few years after she was born, her brother came into the world, and the fates were sealed. Her brother would be the future High lord, and she would be his right hand. However under the firm hand of her mother and instructors, her powers only emerged further and far beyond anyone thought possible. Since then, Keres has been trained by various high fae to control the powers that feels like a tidal wave ready to crush her. The powers she learns to control turn into her greatest weapon against a rising foe. But after a mission goes astray and she comes face to face with someone who she never thought to be connected to, duty and emotions conflict.
