The story follows (YN), a descendant of the great Italian poet, Dante Alighieri and a legendary family clan of Monster Hunters on his mother's side. He was forced to leave his home country of Italy and all of Europe to escape the war, that plagued all of Europe for 5 years. And, due to trouble events, he was left with no choice but to change his last name. To try to forget the ungrateful and sinful things that he has done in the war, he now resides in Japan, to try to redeem the past, and start again. While in a new country, he now attends Kuoh Academy. Life was going grand for the young man, but for a short while. His life will soon again change, after he meets a certain crimson red-haired girl.
