I had just plummeted to the ground. The half-empty ketchup cup stood to my side, except it was now completely empty. I looked up. A man had just stood up, he appeared a staggering 6 inches taller than me - and much more muscular than I. But after the initial shock of his behemoth like figure something else came into view. "Do you want help up or not?" He said slightly agitated. I hadn't even noticed his outstretched hand. But there was no need to be rude. "I'm fine," I glared at him as I brushed myself off. "That's pretty rude coming from the girl that just ruined my sweatshirt!" He was aghast. He greeted my glare with one of his own. "Don't blame this on me! You obviously weren't paying attention! If you were you wouldn't have run into me in the first place! It's your fault!" We hadn't broken eye contact. He had rich hazel eyes. His eyes narrowed, and then smirked. "I don't know if you've looked, but I'm pretty hard to miss, sweetheart. You must not have been paying attention," He turned to walk away, breaking eye contact. "You're insufferable!" I yelled after him, after a pause. He looked back at me. And he winked. And he turned a corner with a wave. The nerve of that guy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Margaret "Skip" Hanahan was no stranger to the odd. She often found the best out of everything. From holes in her bedroom wall to blown tires. But when she finds out she has to move across the country and forget the life she's only known, she needs a bit of an extended adjustment time. And a handsome arrogant football star isn't making things any easier. But Skip's a trooper, right?

Hispanic and football Those two words aren't used a lot. There are less than 50 Hispanic NFL players. Jacob Gomez can be one of them. He dreams of playing at Michigan and later going pro. Or at least, if his parents let him. His mom says that football is too dangerous, injury-prone. His dad supports his football dream, but is away from home a lot. Jacob spent years working out and preparing for football under the guise of preparing for basketball. He's ready to say, the least. He has his mind set on joining the varsity team on Bishop Ireton, but when a scout for Potomac, an even better school, sees him, things are going to get interesting. Especially when Jacob is different. He has the ability to play ANY position.

This novella is the official goodbye to the Shadow Ridge Series. There are going to be some bonus chapters from the unfinished fourth book and scenes that I had planned for a few others! There will also be some epilogues to finally wrap up this series. Kaylin and Lucas will always be the book babies I'm most proud of myself for writing and sharing! I'm both excited and sad to give them, and this series, the send-off they deserve. I hope y'all enjoy what I've chosen to share as the ending to the Shadow Ridge Series! COMING MONDAY, OCTOBER 9TH!

**Currently in a rewrite phase** A couple years have gone by since I got the idea for this story and I was very young at the time, and let's be honest, it shows. So I'm rewriting everything and hopefully it's a bit better. At the very least I'll slow don't the story a little bit. It jumps so fast. Hopefully it won't take two years to write. But I will put more time and effort into it. Thank you to all that have read it so far and for anyone who reads it in the edit phase. Ronni Bass starts his new school and meets an unlikely friend. Everyone loves Jack Jansen. He's hilarious, popular, hot, smart, and the life of the party. Not to mention he's the leader of the school spirit section for the football team. Ollie Rivera, on the other hand, is shy, reserved, awkward, and cute, but he's not your typical high school nerd- he's the star quarterback of the football team. At Stilton High, Ollie doesn't think anyone accepts him. Which makes it even harder to have a crush on Jack Jansen. *THIS STORY IS DISCONTINUED ON WATTPAD BECAUSE I AM WRITING IT AS A FULL NOVEL*
