Nini had the perfect life until once tragic accident took her parents from her. Now she lives in Salt Lake City with a new family and a new life. But will it stay this way? Over the summer, Ricky and Nini breakup. Nini meets EJ at camp and starts dating him. School starts and Ricky finds out about this. He auditions for the musical to get her back. where everything is connected and the promise of life and death gets a bit too literal... and salt lake city somehow becomes a whole crime scene when a string of dead bodies showed up in Salt Lake City, everyone found it weird. They were worried of course, but it was more weird to think about it. So how are teenagers involved in this? When dead bodies were being found, a resident realized a significance to the places they were found in. How is it that the day after they had been in that place, a body would be found? Scratch that, after they left a place they would frequent, a body that's been dead for months would then be found a day later.

After Summer it's the start of a new school year and we get to see Ricky as he tries to re-evaluate his life and take time to work on himself and he takes everything one step at a time.
