Walter dies heroically during a robbery in his previous life. In the space between worlds, he meets a strange and lazy God who grants him two wishes. Walter asks to be reborn in a world of sword and magic and to wield the power of Arc of Embodiment. However, the God, seeking amusement, sends him into the High School DxD universe instead.
