Di tengah-tengah angan-angan yang berhasil dia wujudkan bersama Asher, isi kepalanya justru dipenuhi oleh ketukan jendela kamar di tengah malam yang familier. Saat itulah Wrenley sadar kalau dia sedang bermain dengan api karena debaran aneh yang dia rasakan sekarang, bukan lagi milik cowok di tengah lapangan basket, melainkan milik sahabat masa kecilnya yang perlahan menjauh dari jangkauannya.
