Jackson Overland Frost was suffering from terminal cancer. It was killing him slowly, and as a side effect of his cancer, he fell into a deep depression. Finally, his parents decide that it's time for Jackson, or Jack, to be sent to a local support group. At first, Jack doesn't enjoy it at all. He finds the support group to be boring and a waste of time. That is, until, someone new joins the support group. This someone being Hiccup Haddock, a twenty year old boy who suffered from osteosarcoma, which had cost him his leg. Jack immediately falls for Hiccup, and Hiccup felt the same. Hiccup begins to show his affection for Jack through flirtatious actions. Finally, after a few months of their friendship, they take a trip to Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. While in Amsterdam, they share their first kiss and end up staying the night together in Jack's hotel room. Unfortunately, Hiccup begins to relapse, and Jack begins to worry. Hiccup could die any day. But will he?

Jack frost is invisible to everyone, except Hiccup. This is the voyage of their discovery of the biggest question: Why?

Annually, 500,000 people in the United States... they die from it. And 13% of people that die every year die from cancer. Cancer has a track record that goes on longer than possibly imaginable, but it's still here today and there's still no definite cure for it. So when a loved one falls into its clutches, not much good comes out of it. It ruins lives. It puts out love like rain puts out a fire. And it doesn't stop to realize the damage its doing. Those are the things that I'd gathered about the disease that took his life. Those are also the things I hated to think about. They just made me feel emptier inside than I already was. I knew I'd probably never get over him. I knew that I wasn't allowed to anyways. I made a promise. .....But could I keep it?
