The end of the world didn't start with fire and brimstone. It started with a bizarre trending topic on social media: "People biting people!" For an unemployed shut-in like me, the collapse of society doesn't change my daily routine much. My only goals are to avoid the infected outside, take care of my sick parents, and walk my Pomeranian, Gizmo. As the world descends into a zombie-infested hellscape and the power grid dies, our quiet family life continues in the dark. But as the days pass, something inside us begins to change. The groceries are running out. Mom isn't getting any better. And strangely, I've never felt so hungry for raw meat. A slow-burn psychological horror told through the diary of an unreliable narrator. Sometimes, the scariest monsters are the ones who don't even realize they're dead.

He meets these robots infused with human-like souls through a corporation's service called [Dream Touch Service], a service that lets you spend time with WISH units for a limited time, maximum 24 hours. Bound by time limits, memories intertwine and become severed, this is a tragically hopeful story between souls that cannot stay forever.

But when it comes to imagine oneself amidst an apocalypse, they would imagine themselves as the protagonist, saving people and ending the apocalypse through the power of love and friendship. But June isn't that sort of protagonist. He sure is one, but he isn't heroic or brave or "cool". He is a coward. A coward who is trying to suicide amidst a damn apocalypse but failing to do so. How can someone fail in doing something so easy? Well, he is quite a failure, to a talented extent. Join June's journey and experience his pain, fear and happiness throughout the apocalypse. Will the plot armour save him? Or will he die, like he wished all along? TW: Mention of suicide/ suicidal thoughts.

*Excuse the long intro* Vanessa Longhorn, 27, lives alone. Completely alone. She is what you would call a hikikomori. She does not leave besides when she needs her necessities. Like buying groceries, taking out her trash, or things she cannot buy online. It pains her to have to leave her safety zone, but she knows she will need it in certain situations. How does she afford everything when she doesn't leave? She works at home from her computer as an editor. She has always loved English and she got the perfect job to stay in. Lucky Vanessa. She was especially lucky, though, because she dropped out of school at sixteen. She found some college classes she could graduate from, online classes of course. Why sixteen? Social Anxiety and past trauma. She will never go out at night, never take detours, and will never find herself alone. The trauma she went through at such a young age... Eleven years later and it still haunts her. In comes our male lead- Sean Anchorman, 26. A tall, brown-haired, defined featured, good-looking man. Searching for a cheap place to live, he finds himself moving next door to the hikikomori herself, Vanessa Longhorn. He finds it polite to bring her a housewarming gift. Opens up an awkward girl with unkempt black hair, a skinny figure, pale skin, just an overall ratty appearance. For some ungodly reason, though, he finds it interesting... attractive. He finds himself wanting to know more about her, no, everything about her. That's when the little pieces of yellow paper start slipping under Vanessa's door- little notes. Greetings and goodnights. Soon enough, they have a way to communicate, touching her heart while she touches his. -- *I have only watched a kdrama and read a webtoon about hikikomoris as well as some light research. I'm still new to this type of genre, so please go easy on me! I'll try my best!*
