Sometimes you may stumble upon a place that seems like it was calling out to you, but you just never listened. Sometimes when you least expect it you stumble upon someone who becomes your rock. Your home. They may help save you or they may help break you. Sometimes, just sometimes you have to take the risk. And sometimes it helps just a little bit to dwell in the wonder of stars.

Thousands of years ago, beautiful things existed. Or at least that's what history wants you to believe. Enter a group of friends in the modern time. They go to a museum and after a couple of days start to get flashbacks from the past and begin to discover that maybe history isn't always right about about historical events. Will they able to go back into time and fully experience the true history before it's too late? Or will they fall and forget the real history of the first world ever?

Spoiler for Chapter 13! Hugo is missing since a week and Amicia hasn't been the same since. Melie watched her the whole time out of worry and finally decides that she has to do something to help her. And the thief already got a wonderful idea... This fanfiction already has been posted on Tumblr and AO3 by me, but the Plague Tale fanfics here could use some fresh wind, so I'm chiming in as well hehe~

I finished the story for Pokemon Sheild, probably the last Pokemon game I'll ever buy. Not that it was bad, I'm just tired of the franchise overall. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to write a little bit about what I think would happen to the characters after the events of the game. I've always wanted to write a few short stories, since I'm always doing long intense ones. This is a nice change of pace for me. I know I'm late to the party. Sorry, but $60 doesn't come easily to me, and since everyone finishes new Pokémon games within the first month I had no motivation to do the game for a while. With the story for the game now finished I've added some head cannons, and things that I feel should've happened or would in this made up world.

I've never believed in fairytales, superstitions or fears of fantasy worlds. It's the year 1871, and yet people still believe in such idiotic stories. My job as a stoker on this ship is just so I can get some money to live on, but when the ship goes down and I'm rescued in a submarine, I'm forced to help an ambitious Jenny Playfair, a woman obsessed with finding the lost city of Atlantis. She's crazy, of course, or at least I believe she is, until she shows me evidence that such a city just might exist. As we dive farther into the deep in a desperate attempt to find something, and someone, I come to wonder: If Atlantis is real, what are we to expect? Is there more to this than we know? And if the person with me being completely true about her intentions on finding this city? It's an adventure I didn't sign up for, but quickly find myself in. But the more I find and learn about the ocean around me, the more I realize fairytales just might be true after all. Disclaimer: I do not own Zombies, Run! or any of the characters in it. This is my Stoker Five's version of Mystery at 4,000 Fathoms in the New Adventure section of the app.

I've always felt like something was missing in my life. A yearning, a craving to find out what was left out. Soon, fate tied it together. It was a fate sealed from the very beginning.

The bullet grazed Salem's skin as it whizzed past, shock lingering as his mouth was agape. He should've writhed in pain, falling to his knees in agony, yet he only felt the burning sensation radiating and racking his body with a passionate sense of pain enveloping his laceration with a lack of hesitation. He clenched the wound with haste as he winced, thighs trembling as he let out a shuddered breath. He felt like crying out in pain, screeching and writhing upon the tiled floors, yet he dispersed the enticing idea as the gun was placed atop his forehead, which was covered in sweat. The weapon sent shivers up his spine as his breath hitched out of fear. He could only predict the words that were going to roll off the man's lips like a spigot. "If thou shalt not accept, then thou shall be put to death." Upon coming of the age sixteen, happy-go-lucky Salem is asked to attend a meeting with the council, which just screams bad news. Once he arrives, however, he learns that he must go to the human world to figure out their monstrous way of life. If he declines this mission, he is going to be executed by the admin of the world himself. Salem decides to agree, leaving his sister behind as a precaution. When he is transferred into the human world, he learns that humans aren't repulsive monsters at all. They were much like Salem's kind. Yet, what will happen when he is accepted into a detective agency with only one employee? Will Hilda keep his secrets, or will rumors spread throughout the entire world? He gets betrayed, beaten, cheated, burned, and is left with no sympathy. What will he give to survive in this world? What will he sacrifice to be able to return to his sister safe and sound?
