Keeping you updated, I have published two books and working on my third. Thought it would be interesting to share my unedited sections here so you could see flesh attached to bare bones. I am currently working on a novel called The Muse of Literature which I will be updating daily. You can watch this novel take shape before your eyes. It is set in 1988-1990 and starts with the controversy surrounding the publication of Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses. Oh and it's narrated by the Muse of Literature herself. Does the hero always has to be the good guy out of costume? No. In costume I serve the people how they expect, but outside of costume I be who I want to be; a manipulative punk. I follow my own rules of treatment, obey me or be put down for my own pleasure. Why do I let you mess with me, when I can kill you like nothing? I can hide the body easily, its what I was trained to do. Yet I have to be meek in public, I'm a killer that travels with their family at night. This is a story on both the hero's and the villain's perspective of how they live their lives contradicting the norms of the typical roles they have chosen. The hero is seen as a villain in public out of costume, but praised by all in costume for the difference in personality. The villain is picked on for being different and meek, but are feared in the shadows as they strike their targets down. These two happen to meet in the same city and in school. Will a possible friendship bloom or would the reveal of their identities cause them to be at each others throat for the rest of their lives?
