"In Tokyo, the distance between two sisters isn't measured in kilometers-it's measured in the silence across the dinner table." Seventeen-year-old Nanami is a shadow in her own home. A sprinter with raw talent and a defiant streak, she spends her golden hours on the grit of the riverbank track, running from a life where she feels invisible. Her parents' eyes have always been fixed on someone else: her younger sister, Airi. At fourteen, Airi is Japan's "Golden Child" of rhythmic gymnastics. She is a masterpiece of poise, grace, and perfection. But behind the medals and the forced smiles, the porcelain is beginning to crack. The weight of her parents' expectations is suffocating, and the sister she was taught to surpass is the only person who truly sees her struggling. Step by Step, inspired by the work of Seo Kouji, is a journey through the neon-lit streets of Tokyo and the quiet hallways of high school. It is a story of two sisters breaking out of the roles written for them, finding their own rhythm, and realizing that even if they head in separate directions, they don't have to run alone. Experience a raw, emotional "Anime" vibe story about family, rivalry, and the courage to take the first step toward yourself.

Our destruction is soon Our hero is now A mild quake struck the exact moment Austin Cooper was born. When he was two years old an unidentified man saved his life, and he was five when the man guided him during his first use of a remarkable ability. At age seven, the man told Austin the talent he had was unique among anyone else in existence, and given to ensure his role as future protector of an ancient and powerful artifact. Later that day, the man departed Earth, taking the object he had possessed for centuries, and leaving behind a world condemned to destruction by the brooding, alien malevolence it contained. Now, Austin matures with the understanding that no one else has the ability to manipulate time, to move through it at a different level, a different speed. No one else can simply disappear to a place far away, a parched, bleak, and inhospitable wasteland. The trouble is, neither should Austin. Without control of the artifact, he achieves the supposedly impossible, and reveals himself to another realm, to others that require him, preferably alive, but otherwise would suffice. And things just aren’t getting any easier. There are the seemingly real and vivid dreams that plague him over the years, his ongoing struggle to keep the truth from his loving family, and the prospect of all-out war with a vengeful school bully, intent on destroying the only person able to defeat his cruel and callous deeds. Well... take a number and get in line. Half the Universe is already waiting.

"Little Boy" is a short story about two old couples who have decided to spend their lifetime adoring and cherishing each other's company. They are not capable of producing offspring because of a certain medical condition. Sora, an American teacher who decided to migrate to Japan after retirement along with his husband Yoshimoto Fuji. Fuji was a professor too at America and also decided to go back to Japan after retirement. They were both very happy for they both knew that their love is eternal and very genuine. The story sets on the year 1945 where world war two is about to end. The story depicts a very wonderful love between two people amidst chaos and destruction. Proving that love is something that is unbreakable if strong and that there is no reason for it to be hindered if true. Some parts of this short story are based on actual events and historical information pertaining Japan. Some characters and events are fictitious and similarities to other works is purely coincidence.

This short story was originally written for an English class assignment, but I ended up feeling really proud of it. It's about Naoko Nishimura, a 12-year-old girl surviving the Hiroshima bombing in 1945. I wanted to show not just what was lost, but what it meant to keep going. Please enjoy and let me know what you think! ^^

On August 6th, 1945, Hiroshima was destroyed by the first atomic bomb ever dropped on a city. In this diary, Dr. Terufumi Sasaki tells us what he first experienced during the time of the bomb AND after the time of the bomb. THIS IS AN ASSIGNMENT FOR ENGLISH. I decided to write a diary that undergoes Dr. Terufumi Sasaki's point of view.
