Yuri is the younger princess of Kouka Kingdom. Yona, her elder sister, has always been loved more than she but Yuri never minded. Because ascending to the throne and asking for hands in marriage just wasn't her thing, Yuri was more adventurous than her sister. Being Yuri, she would leave the castle for about half an hour before going home. Usually, no one noticed, since they were either busy, or worrying about their hair. Her love of singing and reading don't match her personality. She tends to zone out after a few minutes of talking and smiles a little too much for most people. It's also hard to serve the princess because she enjoys doing things on her own, at least when no visitors are around. If visitors arrive, Yuri must put on a face and act formal. However, now the clock is ticking to her 16ᵗʰ birthday, where her cousin, Soo-Won comes. Once eager to see him, now everything is turned upside down when Soo-Won finally reaches his goal, killing their father.

Yun-Leo was just 8 years old when he was adopted by King Il. He was the quiet type and hard to approach making him being the mysterious all the time. He was hiding the fact that he's a forgotten being from Yona and the others. Yun-Leo ended up befriending Hak, work as a guardian for Yona and an acquaintance of Soo-Won.
