Douxie Casperan has been living the same unfulfilling life of monsters and minimum wage for nine centuries. His eternal routine is shattered when Claire Nunez accidentally discovers his magical secret life. Douxie comes to accept the truth; only together can they survive the coming doom. Along the way, he'll have to overcome his own self-doubt and open himself up to a bond deeper than he ever could have imagined. The boy wizard will journey alone no longer. Alternate timeline in which Douxie, rather than Jim, introduces Claire to the hidden supernatural layer of Arcadia. Timeline is set midway through Trollhunters season 1. Jim is still the trollhunter. Enrique never gets kidnapped (for simplicity's sake). Jlaire is relatable and beautiful and I would never discredit it, but Clairxie intrigues me so much more. What began as a simple what-if question spiraled into a fascinating alternate story with character development, twists, angst, and adorable banter. I hope you can enjoy both this and the canon material.

So this is going to be with a fem reader(sorry if thats not ur gender), the first one or two parts are going to just be background info and I encourage you to read them so that way the rest of the story makes sense.
