Vanessa Scott is broken. Like, really broken. Like, beyond-duck-tape-and-super-glue broken. With an abusive father and a depression slowly seeping it's way into her life, she can't seem to be able to just be happy. And just when it seems like her life will be like that forever, she has a fateful encounter with someone in the least expected of all places.
