People have a hard time understanding Komi, Shouko. Well, other than Tadano, HitoHito. He understands every little thing that she wants, just by her expressions. Tadano learned that Komi has bad social anxiety and can barely talk on their very first day if highschool. Ever since then they became very good friends. Both are close. Tadano would do anything to make Komi happy. Komi would do anything to make Tadano happy. Neither of them know why, but Tadano understands Komi like no other. Komi and Tadano both don't know it yet, but they have feelings for eachother, love feelings. Shouko Komi has extreme social anxiety. When she starts at Itan Private School, she and a boy get friendly. Hitohito Tadano swears he will help her with her goal : 100 friends by the end of the year. It's fine until Komi develops feelings for Tadano. Very, very slowly. Komi's friends seem to notice, and do everything they can to put Komi and Tadano together in every situation. Tadano has always liked Komi - but, being an average student, could not confess. And Komi - having extreme social anxiety, can't confess her feelings either. There are a few problems. 1. Ren Yamai. Ren Yamai is a popular girl who has intense feelings for Komi. Yamai only has one goal - to become Komi's best friend (or girlfriend) before Tadano does. 2. Omoharu Nakanaka. Omoharu Nakanaka is fighting Yamai to be Komi's best friend. Although Nakanaka has no feelings for Komi, unlike Yamai, she intends to be Komi's best friend ever. 3. Najimi Osana. Najimi Osana is one of Komi's friends - and they love to talk. If Komi managed to tell Najimi about her feelings for Tadano, he would know in less than a day. Najimi can't help it. 4. She doesn't know whether Tadano likes her back. Tadano does like her back, but Komi doesn't know that.
