Great Elroe Labyrinth, a place said to be where monsters born and hunt. A dark forest filled with unending competition for very survival. For monsters, it is home and battlefield. For humans, it was path to the other side of the world or grave. And it remained like that unchanged. But deep in caves and tunnels of the largest dungeon, rose a soul that cannot move, cannot speak or hear in a way humans understood. The being that weaponises change itself and simply, slowly grows. For change comes slowly and quietly. And the world never notices until it is everywhere. Alright this fandom is kinda dyings, especially fanfic wise and this is my attempt at keeping it alive. All the art I used in the cover and potentially in future chapters belong to their respective creators. I do not own any of them (though there may be ones I drew) including the original story.

Abruptly forced from the giant city's walls, the Latera and the boy were of the first generation in thousands of years to step foot to the world outside. Without any better choice, they joined the escaping people in a flood that had nowhere to go but down and out and away from the towering city's massive footprint on the land. The day the lights died in the Giant City's halls it was no longer safe to live in, and those not near enough to its outside edges would perish stumbling in the dark when the breathable air could no longer find its way through the winding corridors into the people's hungry lungs. The boy, child of 7, and the infant Latera were of the lucky few to find a gap in the hurried billions that washed as a wave would from a tear in the perimeter of the Giant's City. They felt their first winter that day, and in the years to come would feel, see, do, and live so much more than any human had in the millennia since The Giant had arrived to keep us safe.

See the wholesome that can come from such social conditions, and a little bit of the heartache too! I hope you all enjoy this one-shot, I wrote it for the writing contest, but if it gets to 10k reads, I will continue it into a full series.

I know the world is ending. I know it seems like its almost over but you're not alone this time. We can find another way out. So its something like fixed season 5 of stranger things (original one was low key bad). By fixed season i mean the ending i think would be better but everyone has their opinion i respect and hope others are going to respect mine. Fic has some grammar and verbal mistakes because im not native speaker but i hope its readable. There are going ti be some byler things, i plan on changing el's fate a little bit because what the hell was that? She didnt deserve it. Not this way. Soo enjoy. But when people all over the City suddenly start singing and dancing, it is up to this varied group to come together and get rid of the problem. But with assimilation a looming threat, will they be able to retain their integrity? Or will they succumb to the Hive Mind?

This is an imagined version of a possible Chapter 4 of Poppy Playtime, and a new villain's character biography to add! It brings in old characters, and entwines the new characters into the narrative in an interesting and unique way! (I know that Mob Entertainment have their own ideas and plans for Chapter 4! This is just for fun!) (Also ... this was originally part of another fanfic, but I decided to make it separate. I hope that readers like it!)
