They conquered many planets across many galaxies. And we were now one of them. Rebel Heavy is a resilient and independent individual who may not show much interest in socializing, but deep down, he possesses a hint of compassion. Despite feeling annoyed by the responsibility of taking care of her, he knows that leaving her behind would haunt him later.

HL2: DD was originally my idea for a school short story assessment (it ends just after Sewer Troubles) that I thought was too good to just write four pages on and then forget about. I'm still coming up with this story but I wanted to take a break from one shots and try to write an actual fanfic. It's been seven years since the resonance cascade and everything has gone to shit. Freeman seemingly disappeared and the cascade got the attention of a powerful alien army, the Combine. The Science Team, after being dropped back into the world after the Seven Hour War, are forced to adapt to this new lifestyle while aiding an underground resistance.

Moving on is hard, but just because you moved on, it doesn't mean you can't miss them. Whether this is a romantic or platonic fanfic of Gordon Freeman and Barney Calhoun, it's really up for you to decide 😍😍😍 because it's NOT gay to miss your friend. Not to vent or anything🤭 but I wrote this while thinking about someone I haven't seen in years. ..Anyways, to anyone who's missing someone close to them, it's okay to sit down and cry about it. Moving on doesn't mean you have to throw those feelings away. They're important to you, and that's what matters.
