An foreign race known as the "Combine" or "Civil Protection" came to earth, and invaded us all... That was 2007,, it's now 2015. They built walls, and there's only a select amount of cities. They regulate, and keep us malnourished an weak. This marks the Stories of a few people who survived, and or tried to survive in the now destroyed world they call home.

I'm still coming up with this story but I wanted to take a break from one shots and try to write an actual fanfic. It's been seven years since the resonance cascade and everything has gone to shit. Freeman seemingly disappeared and the cascade got the attention of a powerful alien army, the Combine. The Science Team, after being dropped back into the world after the Seven Hour War, are forced to adapt to this new lifestyle while aiding an underground resistance.

Moving on is hard, but just because you moved on, it doesn't mean you can't miss them. Whether this is a romantic or platonic fanfic of Gordon Freeman and Barney Calhoun, it's really up for you to decide 😍😍😍 because it's NOT gay to miss your friend.
