So, what would happen if a certain Time Lord unexpectedly arrived and touched their lives? How would events pan out in the original Land of the Lustrous? What kind of changes will occur to them? Would it bring the happy end they so long deserved? Or shall they be doomed to an even worse fate? Only time will tell. And time is something he has plenty of, or will, or whenever it is chosen. This is the story of a Time Lord in the land of Lustrous Gemstones.

Pearl doesn't fight, her body is weak; she cannot hold a sword of obsidian-swing it no less. This is a Houseki no Kuni fanfic But it is based on Padparadscha and Rutile. Actually it features those characters and a couple of other gems that have been taken to the Moon. This takes place where the last chapter of the manga leaves off, so it is past vol. 9. Spoiler warnings now if you are not caught up. This isn't really going to be very long, but I feel like I should write this nonetheless. Last night I dreamt they were able to bring back Antarcticite, so this will be about that. Also, there are minor flaws that don't quite correlate with the story exactly, but none too severe that it doesn't make sense.

In the mysterious future, crystalline organisms called Gems inhabit a world that has been destroyed by six meteors and turned into a vast Blank State in the process. Each Gem is assigned a role in order to fight against the Shaderians, a species who attacks them in order to shatter their bodies and use them as decorations, but is that really the case? Chip Bag, who is a young and fragile Gem who dreams of helping their friends in the war effort. Instead, they are told to compile an encyclopedia because of their delicate condition. After begrudgingly embarking on this task, Chip Bag meets Pitchfork, an intelligent gem who has been relegated to patrolling the isolated Blank State at night because of the corrosive poison their body creates. After seeing how unhappy Pitchfork is, Chip Bag decides to find a role that both of the rejected Gems can enjoy. (BEING CONTINUED ON AO3)
