Five interconnected stories from the viewpoint of different legendary birds.

Life has always been balanced by the elements being in place; fervent lava burning in the lowest part of Earth, glacial water in the depths of the ocean, light giving life to the plants around us. What would happen of these elements were captured and taken out of their environments? For the last several weeks, a region called Johto has been thrown into havoc as world disasters spread across the region. Volcanoes begin to erupt without reason. Areas with once prosperous forests are now baren wastelands. Deserts, once scorched by the sun, are now flooded by muddy waters. Topaz, a fifteen year Pokémon Ranger, has dedicated her life to helping Pokémon. Everyday, she would be sent out to save Pokémon from natural disasters. One night, she finds out that the elements of life have been broken. Mystical beings she once thought were myths are actually real... And are dissappearing across the world. Follow Topaz through her adventure to see if she can find out why they're disappearing.

After gaining an unusual ability, he and his new friends, Taki and her Totodile, set off on an expedition to find pieces of a sacred artifact belonging to a secret tribe in the Johto Region.
