As core members of The Dragon-Kin Initiative, they are thrust into the dangerous vanguard of saving Pyretharis. They must navigate intense academic trials, master the art of draconic flight within Starfleet parameters, and mediate deep political tensions between the planet's varied factions. With the planet's inner fires threatening to consume its outer shell, Cinder and Marina must race against time to discover a way to safely re-forge and restart Pyrethia's spatial rotation.
