Being a Russell in our town gives you tons of attention but being the only daughter of the head coach of the hockey team and your 2 older brothers be professional hockey players means you get 10x the attention! Our father mark Russell has been coaching hockey since he was in his 20s and retired playing himself, when we were little he was coaching the college hockey teams but when I was 6 and my 2 older brothers Nathan and Colton were 10 and 8 our dad got asked to coach a new professional league of hockey for young athletics to go to before going to the NHL and let me tell you that gave us a lot of attention! Now several years later my dad is still the coach of the team and Nate and Cole both play on that team. And me and mom pretty well get dragged to go to every game and every interview/press conference as we are a "legacy" family in this hockey world! But what they don't mention is how close you end up getting with the team even tho I'm just the coaches daughter and players sister they all know who I am!
