Delaney has played hockey for as long as she can remember. She grew up with two older brothers who've been playing since the age of four and are now playing pro in the NHL. When she was just 16 years old, Delaney moved to Winnipeg Manitoba to play in the boys league there before being placed on their AHL team. One day her and her best friend Jason get a call that they're being traded and going back to her hometown to play for to the Toronto Marlies. Will Delaney fit in with her new team when she arrives back home or will she have to prove herself to the boys and show them that she can do anything they can do too?

I'm Dakota Lee Dunsmore, known as the girl who has a passion for hockey where I once lived. I've played hockey all my life since I was 6, I've always played with the guys league because I like to show them that I'm just as good and maybe even better then them. My old school never had a hockey team so I just stuck to playing with the league. My father, mother and I moved to America for his job promotion. I'm gonna miss all my friends which are mostly my teammates and my only girlfriend, Scarlett but, i'm happy for him. I have to go to West High Academy here, and I heard they have an okay hockey team and a girls team but heard their not that good. I hope I can once again prove myself as a great player in general not just as a girl. Here's my story as the hockey girl at West High Academy.
