In 1990, Sherlock Holmes - the world's greatest detective - opens his eyes to find himself ninety-nine years ahead of his own time, trapped inside the body of a young boy living beneath a staircase. The boy is Harry Potter, and he is entirely unafraid. As the two souls learn to share a single body, Holmes does what he does best - observes, deduces, and refuses to entertain any explanation that cannot be reached through reason alone. The supernatural, as far as he is concerned, is simply a problem he has not yet solved. The world's greatest detective. The wrong century. The wrong body. Same insufferable confidence.
