But this is the story of a girl, certainly no lady, not an exotic beauty, not the intelligent protagonist who catches the hearts of men, nor is she a one woman army. She was just Marien Clark, a simple girl with not as simple parents. No, her childhood didn't ruin her, her life was just simple, easy as that but their was always one regret that followed her like a chain on her ankle. If someone who was a main character were to say, "you have such an easy life, it's so quiet and simple, there can't possibly be anything wrong with it." she would just look up, stare at the sky, roof or ceiling and say, "I always was and always will be, the Fourth choice."
