Harry is neglected by his parents who are under the impression that his brother Charlie is the boy who lived. The only people who acknowledge him are his uncle's Moony and Padfoot. He runs away once he's had enough. Along the way he makes friends. Now Dumbledore wants to hire him to protect his arrogant brother the so called boy-who-lived. Will this end up well or take a turn for the worse.

Hogwarts is in trouble. The magic woven into the very stones of the school is failing. Every headmaster knows of the failsafe left by the founders. Dumbledore feels that it is time to activate it. Not really knowing what exactly it does. Those who do, know that it is time to return the school to it's former glory. Warning if you are looking for romance, look elsewhere. There is only the barest hint of a couple ships. I just don't do much in this regard. A friend of mine (you know who you are) saw this in the works, and requested I post it.
