It's magic was so strong, they knew that the next descendants would receive the same amount of power, no matter how diluted the bloodline may get. Generations and generations past. The founders died, their children died. On and on, but their descendants continued to come. Curiously, there could only be one child at a time so there was not branching family tree, just one, long stick. The Hogwarts family faded into darkness as they tried to escape the confines of the dazzling world of the famous. Finally, we arrive in 1991. The famous Harry Potter is starting school. Though he isn't the only one. Phoebe Hogwarts is starting her first year in the school that her ancestors built. She's lived in the giant castle her whole life, even when her parents died. She has wandered the hallways, found the hidden passageways, and commands the respect and the help of the sentient castle. Come with her on her journey to discover who she is, not the descendant of the four Hogwarts founders, but at Phoebe the girl.
